I haven’t always been a health nut, but what I have been is overly conscious about my weight and my appearance, but finally I have decided to do something about it.
I am going to lose twenty pounds in three months. This isn’t going to be easy, hell, it’ll be downright one of the harder things I will do in life. I first have to get motivated, make a plan and follow through. I will one day reach my goal and hopefully that will be soon. But I can’t wait.
As far as dieting goes, I have found this website called Skinny Taste, Now, naturally, I have a huge sweet tooth and I do have to say, their Amazing Flour-less Brownies are to die for! DO NOT let the ingredients sway you against trying them, they are super easy to make and worth it for those of you on a diet. I have been so impressed with their recipes that I even ordered their cookbook. My plan for my diet is to use my LoseIt app and decide on a calorie count and follow it as closely as possible. I like food too much too starve with myself, and I will even probably still pig out from time to time. And that’s okay. I just have to balance that out with exercise.
Now, the subject of exercise. The absolute hardest thing I do in life these days. I am planning on exercising by monitoring my heart rate and keeping it in my desired range. I have been recently keeping my heart rate between 70 and 90 percent of my maximum heart rate for about an hour. I am planning on doing this 4 days a week and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve noticed that at first I get more and more tired as I work out, but finally my tiredness peaks and I get this awesome feeling that I love and I keep going till my benchmark. This has been the first time I have learned how to push myself. I went from 30 minutes on an elliptical to one hour straight on an elliptical and I feel so good. I want to help people feel this good.
Diet and exercise has been proven the best way to lose weight and I plan to follow it till I get to my goal and then I will work my hardest to maintain my healthiness. I can’t wait till I can let you know more on my progress.
